Girl Flu

Well, not what we expected this week. When this was taken Daughter should have been at school, in the gym hall, sitting her Higher History pre-lim.

She managed to soldier through her Modern Studies exam yesterday even though the teachers felt she should have been at home. When her alarm went off this morning however, I think she knew immediately that she couldn't face another day of sitting in a cold exam room with an aching body and a head full of snot.

She has been in bed all morning and after warming herself against the kitchen radiator she is now on the couch with a hot chocolate and a pain au chocolat. She has also eaten a bagel with peanut butter! Think the pantry will be raided later.

She is hoping to do a little revision as her Higher English pre-lim is scheduled for tomorrow.
