Skip's Blips

A no deer day

I saw the twin fawns and a buck, but they all hid behind the trees and undergrowth. Then I spotted this squirrel rooting around on the ground, digging for nuts. As squirrels usually do, he scampered up a nearby tree so he could enjoy his treat in safety. As he nibbled, pieces of the walnut shell rained down onto the ground near my feet. He was a happy squirrel, and I was a happy blipper.

It rained much of the day here, and it was cloudy all day. Not even the tiniest glimmer of sunshine pierced the clouds. Maybe tomorrow the weather will improve, but for now it's time to say goodnight from the chilly, damp north coast of Ohio.
