Life in a Northern Town

Snowdrops

Ok so I faffed about with this somewhat.

In between visiting my FIL and hearing many, MANY old railway stories today, I have dealt with some eye-watering incompetence from everyone's favourite Government department, HMRC, and submitted a tax return for a friend who left it until the day before the deadline and was in a mess. It seems I am a good friend to have this time of year (I'm rubbish the rest of the year as I am totally anti-social). All this under the greyest, dullest, dreariest sky there ever was. So it's faffed about with snowdrops for the Blip today.

To cheer myself up, a song about jumping in puddles, that is reliably uplifting and wonderful - Sigu Ros.

Is it the weekend yet?
