Finale

Closing ceremony this afternoon - much flag waving.  Took loads of pictures but liked this one as the movement and mix of colours (deliberate blur) seems to perfectly reflect the colourful amorphic shape of this week's conference with all my students becoming 'more' than they were before. The conference may be officially over but my day is not. Started as usual  at 8am escorting students on the tram to the conference centre, and then unfolded as I visited each committee to take photos of students 'in situe' before the closing ceremony started at 16.30.   This evening half of the students have gone to the conference disco with a curfew of midnight so a sixteen hour day  for me.  I am exhausted.  Off to Amsterdam in the morning.
