Bowled over

Photo show one completed bowl I did today and the three I started today at their different satages after being cout out of a sheet of copper...Had a busy day this morning making copper bowls... Made two and decided to learn a new technique called raising on the third... No idea how it will turn out but it's a journey....and as long as I enjoy travelling it doesn't matter where the journey ends...
Spent the afternoon on the marshlands...formerly ploughed fields on the estuary counting and photographing Brent Geese and bog and struggled back to the car through squelching dragging mud that gave me a new John Wayne gait!! You can feel the storm coming pushing the rain clouds ahead today. They emptied themselves with abandon in a seeming attempt to escape the following fury... Camera batteries on charge and wellies at the ready for tomorrow...
