New Solo Seat Yamaha SR 250

My rat bike project has a new solo seat.

Two weeks of thinking about it and then fabricating the seat component parts.

It culminated today with Kathy and I making a four-handed game out of attaching the vinyl upholstery.

Re-purposing parts and reusing the foam from the ruined original seat produced a very serviceable new seat for about five dollars.

The best part is that it feels quite right sitting on it.

I’m really looking forward to getting this machine on the road, but lots more work to do yet.
