A is for Anchor/Air born/Arts

We set off early this morning for the port city of Bunbury.
Its the third largest city in Western Australia after the state capital, Perth, and Mandurah. It is situated 175 kilometres south of Perth's central business district. (Wikipedia)

the first picture is of a wall at the base of the Mariners Hotel, with "Anchors" placed against it also propellers from old or sunken ships.

The top right picture is of a hang glider who was hovering "Air born" over the ocean.

The third is the Bunbury Regional "Art Galleries" first opened on the 14th of February, St Valentines Day, 1987. Converted from the Sisters of Mercy convent, this building has been an iconic structure for Bunbury and the regional community since the first foundation stone was laid almost 100 years prior in 1897.

It was such a wonderful drive and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip today, it was hard to chose just one blip for the first day of the Alphabet Challenge, hence a collage of the "A" is for....
