Compass points - NORTH-WEST

The view to the north-west from the Mas.

This is the direction in which we see the Pyrenees, most often in the winter but not today because it's slightly misty. During the summer months it's much too hazy to see them. To the left of centre is the turbine at the end of the line that passes us, situated on the edge of the ridge which separates us from the Ebro valley.

Compare with this blip lfrom February 2009, although I'd zoomed on that one to capture the Pyrenees.

We had a friend round to dinner this evening, and it was nice to chat. But when am I going to remember that if you put things to cook in an earthenware dish they are going to take longer than you think...

There was no wind at all this morning, but it had increased by the afternoon and it was colder.
