Rehoming

I moved the log pile out of the sitting room to repaint behind the fireplace and re-blacken the log burner. I found plenty of spiders and spiders' nests - including this handsome specimen. I'm one of those strange people who actually likes spiders.
All the logs are in the garage now because since getting the air source heat pump and better insulation we haven't need a fire.

Mum was supposed to popping over but the weather was atrocious so she cried off. I don't blame her - it was blowing a hoolie!
