Wooden Statuette

As it is my wife’s birthday today we stayed over in Edinburgh at the weekend to take in a show, War Horse and see a film. As the dogs were in kennels we took the opportunity to stay at my son’s house on the Saturday night and on the following morning I went looking round the house for blip opportunities among the knick knacks on the shelves. This is a rather fine ( Balinese ? ) carving that took my eye. Unfortunately the family were not around to tell me its origins.
