Newly Hatched.....

An exhausting day.

Our day started early, on the road at 7am heading to the city amongst peak hour traffic as today Daughter E moved flat. We spent most of the day moving her belongings, then a little shopping getting a few last minute things like extension cords and power boxes. It's been a sweltering day with the heat.

Anyway, Daughter E has two delightful flatmates and is in a very modern flat, she had a huge smile when we left.

A wander round my garden, trying to cool off I came across this newly hatched monarch butterfly, guess it got to hot in the chrysalis. She hung around for a couple of hours drying her wings before gently fluttering round the garden gradually getting higher and higher before she was up and away - a lovely moment to witness.

I'm feeling very humble over the many views, comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's mono 'Incredible Egg'. Thank you so much for your encouraging words, mono is certainly a challenge which I'm thoroughly enjoying. I was delighted to see it reach the spotlight page :)

Must fly as its time for tea - Happy Tuesday blippers :)

Edit: A hot and humid day, temperature of 29C recorded at 4.30pm
