Firey, yet vague...Detail of 3ft x 4ft Oil

Going to continue with an oil I started ages ago....at a " what shall I do " stage..... So many options....directions I could take. .... Shall I keep to really painterly mark making style?....Should I start considering detail?..... One thing I do feel is that it should show passion and spirit.....and,perhaps, spirits themselves.
What do the blazing colours represent?
