Low tide, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

So, blip 500. Typically, there is mud. Untypically, there are no people. I'm a bit cross about that.

Abundant thanks to those of you who visit, comment and just generally make the whole exercise feel worthwhile. Because as Giacomo once told me: "A photo unseen by others is only data."

I have an exhibition on. That sentence would have been preposterous a year ago but sharing photographs here has changed stuff.

So I'll close with special thanks to Uplymer, who introduced me to Blip two years ago and now tells me which pictures show I am "going soft". Pictures such as ones of lone seagulls over mudflats caught in rays of sunshine.
