Festival of Light

Aberdeen is celebrating its first (of many?) Festival of Light. As part of the festival there is a "Light Garden" in Union Terrace Garden. At the time I was passing it was still being set up and attracting some interest from the few passers by,

The Light Garden involves 2000 P5-P6 children from across the city of Aberdeen, who have each created their own LED ‘light flower’ in a series of school-based workshops with artists from the region. See link.

I presume the overall effect of this display is intended to resemble a tree, upside down from the angle at which I took the picture. Although at least some of the lights were illuminated they did not show up in daylight, even at close up. The overall effect was largely white on green. I have attempted to bring out some colour.
