Creche or lunch?

Caught sight of these wee critters on my friend's mum's roses.

Couldn't help wondering if they are this one's babies or if they are his next meal?

Realised I know nothing about Aphids.

I liked the little droplets on its deely boppers though (that's a technical term, btw).

They won't be there much longer apparently. I think I gave them away by spotting them with my macro lens. Oops.
