I Wish...

I wish people did not get pets they can't take care of.

I wish people got their cats neutered instead of trying to make a buck from kittens.

I wish people wouldn't make excuses when they clearly have no intention of accepting ANY responsibility for another living creature that they decide to dump because they now have a baby, they have "allergies" (unconfirmed to be related to their pet!), the cat doesn't fit their lives/lifestyles/colour scheme...

I wish I could be sure all the cats we see at our local shelter could have some chance of a home.

But most people want a cuddly kitten, they don't want a lovely cuddly older cat...

Feeling jaded by seeing so many beautiful cats dumped with the most pitiful excuses...
