Last day in the classroom

Slept ok. Rooming with the new chromatography specialist who is a real nice guy but snores a bit so kept me awake.

Last day of class with another full on day of power points. Got some free bees including branded t shirts and these stress ball scientists (blipped) However some useful hands on time with some of the sales reporting software we use. At the end we had a visit from the main boss of US labs whom spoke at lot at the recent annual sales conference. I actually asked a question! I asked why are we no 1 in Europe and not in US? And what lessons can we learn. He basically told me it's because our competition isn't there....

Then to Italian restaurant for dinner. A nice meal, all comp'd beforehand so had couple beers and done shots and whilst most went back to hotel I decided to network and stay out with some coworkers and hit the local casino.

$10 day pass inc $15 at bar and $25 slots. Slots soon went and spent rest of night watching how to play craps. Another drink at casino and drink at hotel bar then bed - off to local warehouse and call centre tomorrow to see how that all works then home tomorrow. I've had fun but ready to get back to home comforts.....
