View towards Mount Bradley

It's been a day off for for me today, but before I got stuck into chores around home, I took my neighbour's sheepdogs for a walk up the hill behind their farm as they were out of town.

After a bit of a hike up a gully with wonderful native bush and birdsong, I found this spot - a ledge below a rockface looking out towards Mount Bradley on the other side of the valley.

I'm glad I took the hiking poles - it's a steep and craggy walk in places, but watching the dogs negotiate the hills and gullies at speed is always good to watch.
