Kentish Man

This is the river Medway, which defines my identity as a Kentish Man, born in Kent west of the Medway. Those born on the eastern side are Men and Maids of Kent.

I am blipping from the train as I head north to Stirling from Kent. The Medway and the Thames are now behind me. I still have other interesting crossings ahead - The Tyne and The Tweed - before I get back Stirling where I live on the bank of the Forth.

The train will head on north over the Tay and on to Inverness on the Moray Firth. I love river crossings.

The train has just stopped because of overhead line problems ahead. All the more frustrating because it is a diesel!
