Apologies for the sweary nature of the title but that brown water is our garden!

It came up to the patio and then slowly started to recede. We've had to move the chickens to higher ground, fill a load of sandbags, prepare the flood guards, move a load of stuff upstairs.

One of our log piles has floated off down the river!

I never even wanted a bloody water feature.

Anyway, as ever we have had a lot of help from our very excellent friends and family, thank you everyone.

Fingers crossed the rain this evening is not as much as they are forecasting and apologies if I don't comment much for a few days, I have panicking to do!
