Goit Stock - Harden - what a find!

Well, I had a really enjoyable walk round Goit Stock Woods and Waterfall in Harden today - I can't believe I've never been before! What a beautiful (if muddy and a bit tricky in part) place with a fascinating history. Apparently on a Bank Holiday in 1927 it attracted 20,00o people!! Today I hardly saw a sole, except a couple of other dog walkers, which was good as no one saw me when I fell over 1.5 times! I could have spent hours there - I must go back when the bluebells are out! :) Chino cut his paws - it was a bit of a blood bath - but he's ok and resting and I'm resting and eating cake:)
