Yeah, the courier put it down at the door and left very smartly before anyone could say "um, that's sounds like it might be broken..."

I'm thinking they were not as careful with it as they could've been.

I've been in touch with the woman who I bought the containers from on TradeMe and she's going to a. let me know what other containers she has, & b. what she can do in the way of a partial refund.

Other than that, I had a very pleasant afternoon sitting on the deck drinking coffee and talking about my clients' house design (alteration & fit out).
