Traffic tunnel work site

As you can see from this image the weather today was rainy. The view is taken from a worksite mirror at the tunnel works near our house. The tunnel is to be 2.3 kms long and it will run under our house (!) and Tammerkoski Rapids alongside Näsijärvi Lake.

The work started in October and the tunnel should be ready in 2017. The goal is to ease the traffic congestion in downtown Tampere - we'll see how that works out.
