Late day colors

I had just picked my daughter up from piano practice when we saw the sun setting behind the trees, casting all sorts of beautiful colors into the sky and onto the snow around us. We ran home, grabbed my camera (well, my phone because it's easier in a hurry) and swung back around to take a few shots before the sun sunk behind the trees for the evening.

My daughter has shown a genuine interest in photography and other forms of creativity the past several years. I like to think moments like this will only further stoke the flames.
