Meltdown

And the meltdown begins. The freezing temperatures started rising and the ice coating everything started melting. We put on our work clothes and headed out to tackle the snow piles and ice. With the warmer temps, we were able to get some order to our front yard in no time.

We took a trip around to check out the damage in nearby neighborhoods and we quickly realized how much we lucked out! There are so many trees down, landing on cars and houses. Some people are still without power. We have only a few small branches, twigs really, that fell off our tree, and we didn't loose power. The lights just flickered a couple times. We were warm, fed and content.
