Introducing Kevin

This is “Kevin”. Yes, a cat called Kevin, aka “Kitten”. He is a plump little fellow, a cream-point Rag-doll cat. Kevin belongs to Hannah and Alex who are presently on the Abel Tasman Track with Hannah’s parents.
Kevin usually lives in a great big house-truck over in Nelson. He has no feline companions there so he is delighting in making friends with Morris and Molly, the Maine Coons and Amelia Jane, our little Birman cat. He is relaxed around Fergus the dog but not sure about Gypsy the Border collie cross. Being a part Border Gypsy would like to round Kevin up…..for a game.
Kevin slept on our bed last night. I could tell it was him in the middle of the night. I ran my fingers along his tail and felt the distinctive kink in the end of it.
Kevin is beautifully coloured with apricot shading on his face and along his back and tail. His little legs are slightly shaded with apricot as well but the rest of him is snow white. He has very blue eyes. I decided to show him off in a monotone image but will photograph him again and blip him in full Technicolor next time. Here he is playing with a little ceramic snow-boarding mouse. He is lying on the oak side-board in my office. I had to remove one or two precious ornaments to accommodate him.
I had a Camera Club Committee meeting here tonight and Kevin enjoyed the company and kept winding around folks’ legs … a very sociable cat!
