A bit ripped

Shame when it's so pretty.

We've lost all the British TV channels as of this morning, all the BBC ones having disappeared a few days ago. Serves you right, some might say, why should you be able to watch it when you don't pay a licence fee? You chose to go and live there, so watch Spanish/Catalan TV and like it!

But I don't like it, although we do watch the news and weather in Catalan at least once a day. There are also quite a few English made programmes shown that we can change the language on, together with lots of films... although I'm not much of a film watcher at the best of times... but they haven't got Call the Midwife and other favourites.

We could invest in a much larger satellite dish, but there's no room for one at the village house with only having a small roof terrace, and so we've opted to buy a little box that means we can watch via the internet, although it is a bit of a pain in the neck to navigate.

But it will have to do. Moan over.
