I like that show that asks what would happen if humans ever disappered from the earth. I marvel at Mother Nature's resillience.

These cottonwoods have seeded among the foundations of a railroad trestle. In 1800's there were a number of trestles that laced the banks of the Fox connecting the mills. The tracks are gone, the mills have been converted to condos, mergansers drift in the icy current.
