Heading north

The day started in Glasgow, visited Edinburgh (without actually being more than 100m away from Waverley), then onto the train north. A swap in Perth then loads of snow at Drumochter - two lorries jack-knifed within 100 yards, long lines of lorries parked up, and great stretches of trunk road with no traffic as the road is closed further back. It's like a different world compared with the Firth of Forth here earlier.

I'm home, not much later than expected, and posting this blip as I wait for the ping of the microwave with tonight's dinner.
