Afternoon off, out to lunch with my friend Linzi & her wee boy, Daniel, who'd just been skiing at Hillend and was on superb 'cheeky wee boy' form. Much pasta consumed. Lovely afternoon sheltering from the flurries of snow.

Then some calls from work on the way home (one urgent, one from my boss, who'd forgotten I was off). You try to take some time off....
