Feb 13th 2009 - All out attack!

For our morning Spanish lesson our little group were given one objective – buy foam and spray attack the rest of the group! We decided tactics and stealthfully bombarded three groups after pretending to be nice and then Joana, Rachel, Sally and I turned on each other! We then found the final group and, amongst the mayhem, turned Sophie’s lovely Ralph Lauren bracelet orange – which didn’t go down particularly well.

We then went to the market and tried some amazing fruits and it was around this time we realised Rachel’s camera was broken. And she had lost her card. However a few minutes later and we were back at the hostel with the card on the table and her camera miraculously working again. Amazing how things can work themselves out.

After a lunch of rocky road and a quick game of hac-e-sac with Joana, we headed to the rich folk part of Quito. There were amazing views and this reminded me why I came to Ecuador – not for the cities but for the landscape. I had very much enjoyed Quito but I was also greatly looking forward to getting out to the countryside.
