Snake track

Andrew pointed out a snake track. It was heading towards the hay shed, no doubt to hunt for mice. Andrew could tell which way it was going, (upwards in this photo), by the dirt pushed back as it propelled itself forwards. It was a fairly big snake. Unfortunately he couldn't tell me what colour it was - the kids had seen a "white" one recently in the shed: perhaps a light-coloured carpet snake? That kind is harmless and popular for keeping the mice down.
