Marvellous

At the end of a day that I had not enjoyed and frankly, was feeling really quite low, I spent a while in the Art Studio after all students and colleagues had gone home, grading student work - when looking out of the window in contemplative thought, I refocused and suddenly saw that the trees brushing against the glass were already in bud. This promise of tomorrows and the joy that they might bring was emphasised in the evening when Alison came and, as we had previously decided (here) we booked our flight to Florence for the Spring Break! Totally Marvellous.
