February Challenge - My Valentine

Day 14 of DDW's February daily challenge - My Valentine

An early start for a very long day, that turned out to be even longer. Up early to beat the traffic to ensure I was at Heathrow on time. Met up with the 4 other blippers that were travelling from Heathrow today and joined the flight.

On arrival at LA we were told that our internal flight to Fresno had been cancelled, Oh Bummer! That meant a 4 hour wait as the next flight was full, so it was the next but one that we were rebooked on to. During the wait we discovered that the original excuse we had been given (a mechanical problem) wasn't true - Oh Bummer #2.

It turned out that the air space around Fresno had been closed due to a visit from Oh Bummer Obama, but he didn't hang around to apologise for delaying us.

So 4 hours late our 10 day 7 blipper blipmeet in Yosemite begins.

(For the theme, I have no Valentine (and Obama wasn't getting one from our group), so you get a few hearts from one of the chocolate shops in Heathrow)
