Look what the postie delivered today

Advance copies of my new poetry collection, Don't Poke a Worm till it Wriggles, from Bloomsbury - a 'must-read' if you're seven or under. You're not? Darn! Well, it's a good read anyway (so they tell me!) with delightful illustrations by Sean Longcroft.

Meanwhile, I am guessing all wise little earthworms are keeping their heads well below the surface, even though (thankfully) the wind has dropped today. Our roof tiles stayed in place, though one fence panel was smashed to matchwood.
