No red roses

The watch word for today has been 'indolence', or 'lazyiness' or 'sloth' even. (That's 3 words).

I have been out - to Cameron Toll, to the Commonwealth Pool and then ....the back garden, once the rain stopped.

I've spoken to my my mother, had a thank you message from #1 daughter in law for the anniversary bouquet (orchids), finally caught up with #2 son. I've done a puckle of internet shopping and lots of browsing. I tidied the kitchen but the ironing remains untouched. I've googled quite a few relatives, (distant), in NZ and Saltburn.

It's been a very lazy day. I may now stir myself to open a bottle, white I think.
