Happy Birthday to Me!

The bugs obligingly sang Happy Birthday as I crawled around the garden on this very pleasant morning. I took many many photos of this tiny tiny fly because I was fascinated by how nearly invisible it was. It was so invisible I found it very hard to focus, even with the tripod and Live View. I didn't even realize it was a fly til I saw it on screen. The question is: is it a baby fly or a full grown fly? It's less than a quarter inch long, and so thin it is barely there. But it sure looks like it has all the requisite fly parts.
