The lovely Japanese Quince...

...in the garden is starting to flower quite nicely. Along with the forsythia. The fruit trees have tiny buds, especially the cherry tree...could it be a positive sign? I have done a tour of our garden and my absent neighbour's.

I am quite pleased with this lens which I used for portraits in the week. It has good sharpness at f2,8 and creates nice bokeh.

What a difference a nice evening in front of the fire with a film and a good night's sleep makes.
