View from the Acropolis

A glorious Sunday in Athens when the world and his wife were out enjoying the balmy weather. Of course, I could have shown the mind-blowing temples to the gods on the Acropolis, but what is doubly spectacular is the 360 degree view of the city from there.

This picture captures a couple looking over one of the parapets in a south easterly direction towards the remaining pillars of the Temple of Olympian Zeus in the middle distance. The green area beyond is the National Garden - an extensive area which runs from the parliament to the the Temple.
