Roman sheep beside the North Tyne

This morning Mr hazelh, K, the children and I visited Chesters Roman fort and museum where we joined in some activities as part of Children's Roman soldier week. K and I particularly enjoyed dressing up as soldiers and taking orders in Latin from our commanding officer. When we wandered through the ruins down to the river I photographed these sheep. I was struck by the one up on his hind legs munching through his lunch.

We're now back home in Edinburgh and I'm gearing up for another busy week at work, plus the resumption of my exercise routine.

No exercise today, other than walking around the fort.
