Fungi

As I pulled up on my drive today I could hear a helicopter so I drove to the park carpark (terrible, I know, because it is all of 500yds but needs must for a blip!). As yesterday the Chinook appeared and landed in the same spot. Another 30 or so soldiers arrived and were whisked off in the direction of the floods.
While I was taking photos I was leaning against a tree for support. As I turned I was hit in the face by something wet and yucky but it turned out to be this rather lovely fungi. There must have been about 10 of them and they were about 6 inches across. I'm afraid I don't know what it is but I'm sure one of my lovely blipmates will be able to tell me.
