Upside-down

Beautiful day today, lots of butterflies and bees around, which I'm sure is a tad early ...

I found another buzzard's nest today, quite by accident.

I saw a red kite in the distance, followed where it was going - hoping it was coming past me - when it hovered over a tree as if it were hunting.

I then saw a commotion as a buzzard shot out of the tree and chased it off, then returned to the tree - on closer inspection I saw that it was actually sitting on a nest - result!

Anyway, here is a Long tailed tit, which will be off soon, they seem to disappear in springtime.

Apparently there will be a shower or two tomorrow ... oh well ...
