♫♫ Spring is in the air .. ♫♫

I was tempted to blip this rather fine male blackcap which visited the garden this morning .. but doesn't the sight of a little blue tit checking out the nest box give you hope that spring could be around the corner? :)


The nest box was used last year, but was suddenly abandoned, and it wasn't until I cleaned it out in the autumn that I found out why. I think this blip is rather beautiful in a memento mori kind of way - but you may not!
