St Paul's Church

Today we went to mass in the church in Paphos. It was in Latin and this was very nostalgic for me. It reminded me of the church as it was when I was a child.

The church has a great deal of historical significance. It is shared between the Greek Orthodox, the Roman Catholics and the Church of England. It was built on this spot because it is said that St Paul landed here from Syria. Strangely, it is built on a Roman archeological site.

An interesting visit.

But nobody welcomed us to this church.
