Antibes Day 2. Old Town

A perfect, dry, bright, blue-sky, sunny day for exploring the Old Town of Antibes. We couldn't have wished for better, beginning with gorgeous fresh baguette from the boulangerie just across from the apartment to an al fresco breakfast on the balcony to a fantastic wander through the narrow streets, all the time making our way to the harbour with its array of expensive boats.

The Old Town itself was the star of the show, though. The atmosphere is great, every turn is full of interest, and our breath was constantly taken away by the sights we saw. It was really hard to make a blip decision, but this took the prize after some deliberation. It may change, but here it is, for now at least.

Carl is in silhouette, walking away from the mad blipper who constantly had to stop and click his shutter, madly trying to get as many images into the can as possible before the battery ran out (strange how it's when you really need a spare battery that you forget to bring one with you).
