Duluth Harbor Lighthouse

We were tired and a little stiff this morning. Another excellent breakfast at The Inn and it is time to move on. Tim and Jane are heading home, but we are on vacation so drove to Duluth today. When we arrived in Duluth Don needed a nap I cannot be in Duluth and not go down to the harbor. This lighthouse sits at the end of the canal leading into Duluth Harbor. The wind was very, very strong coming off of Lake Superior but not so cold.
To warm up I went into the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center. I haven't been here for years and had forgotten how interesting it is. They have great displays that describe the shipping industry, information about the Great Lakes and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Tomorrow we will be driving up to Grand Marais.
