Norbad Ice Cream

This is Norbad who is Hungarian, very friendly and talkative. He has been working in the UK for 8 years and is a manager with this Ice Cream company. At the height of the season they employ 40 Hungarians because they work hard, are trustworthy and willing to work long hours. He said that he earns in one week here what would take him a month in Hungary. He said life is 'very hard' there. However, soon he plans to return as he misses it. He jokingly got into a boxing stance telling me that of course British workers aren't lazy - they are just used to a different system. It seems to me that capitalism is alive and still kicking.
