Beauty and the Beast

The Beauty is Bingley resting in the Aire Valley with it's many pretty stone terraces and buildings - the Damart factory chimney is on the far right centre.
( There's either a lot of chimneys in Bingley, or I've got an obsession with them)

The Beast is by judicious juggling just out of the frame. That Beast is a vast electricity pylon feeding power down into Bingley. In terms of contemplating the bucolic idyll of Bingley it is like as sword slash across a canvas. I have saved you this horror.

In the distance is Rombald's Moor with Ilkley over the other side out of view.
