Limited horizons

Bedroom window
Offers glimpse
Through rainy screen
Of wider horizons of
Tree, bird in flight and rooftops
On a day of being poorly
When the sun was out
And I was in.

Emergency blip as have been in bed most of the day with a stomach bug. Feeling a bit better now so am relocating to the sofa. Back to normal tomorrow, I hope.
