Errrrrm?

Spoilt for choice.
We decided to have Thursday on a Tuesday this week. Twixt Breakfast and 11:00 we had moved from semi-stagnation to ... let's have a look at the snowdrops.

Dawyck was a few miles nearer than Edinburgh: and since we hadn't been to either in snowdrop time, we chose the nearer option.
If you're after looking at snowdrops ... YES.
If you're after some different varieties ...NO.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day in spite of the moist, it stayed dry while we wandered, fair chucked it down on the way up.
WE will certainly be back when there's more to see, they had the best labelling I've seen, many with little pics so you could tell if the thing labelled was up or asleep.
As is ever the case on these days ... spoilt for choice, the "ruddy grey tree-rats" were never seen after we got out of the car and the only shot wasn't fit to keep, let alone Blip.
Again the committee gathered and reduced the choice to either or. Gaffer quoth thusly.. "If you want to talk about snowdrops, it's that one: if you want to talk about Dawyck, it's that one."
and since neither of us was sure, we made it both. I STILL can't recruit her though.
